My approach to patient care
Good medicine starts with listening. Every patient who walks through my door has a unique story, their symptoms, their health history, their concerns, and their goals. My job is to understand your specific situation before recommending treatment.
Thorough evaluation first
I don’t prescribe treatments based on symptoms alone. Proper diagnosis requires taking time to understand your condition through careful history-taking, physical examination, and appropriate testing. Only then can we have a meaningful conversation about treatment options.
Evidence-based medicine
My recommendations are grounded in medical evidence: FDA-approved treatments and therapies supported by peer-reviewed research. I stay current with advances in urological care, but I’m also appropriately skeptical of therapies that lack solid evidence.
Individualized treatment plans
There’s no such thing as one-size-fits-all medicine. The right treatment for you depends on your specific diagnosis, your overall health, your preferences, and your goals. We make these decisions together.
Honest communication
Patients deserve straightforward answers. If a treatment isn’t likely to help you, I’ll tell you. If I think you should see a different specialist, I’ll say so. If we don’t know something for certain, I’ll acknowledge that. You can trust that my recommendations are based on what I genuinely believe is best for your health.
Respect for your time and intelligence
I explain things in plain language and make sure you understand your options. Your questions matter, and you should never feel rushed or dismissed.

Why evidence-based care matters
In today’s healthcare landscape, patients are often targeted by marketing that promises quick fixes and miracle treatments. Men are told they need testosterone without proper evaluation. Patients are sold supplements, devices, and treatments with limited evidence.
You deserve better than that.
When you come to my practice, you’ll receive a thorough evaluation by a specialist trained specifically in urology. I’ll recommend treatments that have been proven to work, FDA-approved therapies backed by research. And I’ll be honest with you about what we know, what we don’t know, and what I think will actually help your specific situation.
This isn’t the fastest approach or the flashiest. But it’s the approach that leads to real results.
